More info on RRPL Magazine Issue 4 - Hello Dalí!

Issue 4 of the RRPL magazine celebrates art and artists and is the biggest and boldest issue yet.

It includes features on two legendary collaborators with The Clash, both articles showcasing special items from the RRPL archive. There is an in depth look at the art-life of rock & roll cartoonist and artist Ray Lowry. And, in a new interview, graffiti artist Futura 2000 talks about his time working with the band.

The issue also includes some fabulous guest contributors including Bob and Roberta Smith, Jim Jarmusch, John Cooper Clarke, Linder Sterling, Phill Jupitus and Sarah Lucas. And there is a moving tribute to the inimitable graphic designer and sculptural artist Nancy Fouts.

Rounding things off is a look at Tony Hancock’s The Rebel, cited by both David Bowie and Lucien Freud as being the movie which best captures the struggles of an artist. And, as ever, the issue is jam packed with images of items taken from the ever expanding Rock & Roll Public Library.
